Office Bulding



(i) Research park is currently operating from research building of IIT Guwahati.

(ii) Construction for the new building for the research park consist of block B1 and block B2 is in progress.

(iii) B1 will be G+ 9 storeys and will house the offices and laboratories with attached toilets & pantry. There will be 8 laboratories in each floor and each laboratory module is of 100 sqm. This block will have wet labs, electrical labs, mechanical labs andprototyping labs, Lab for common analytical facility. There will be 6 passenger lifts and 1 or 2 freight lift. Each floor will have a meeting room, a waiting area with reception desk. The top floor will have an auditorium of 200 cap., a seminar room for 30 persons and a food court.

(iv) B2 will be G+7 storeys used for office. There will be floor area of 40 sqm. There will be 6 passenger lifts and a freight lift.

The Lakshminath Bezbaroa Central Library is housed on a four storeyed building having a floor area of about 7500 sq. meter. The Library currently has 1,54,564 printed volumes and 2291 subscribed current journals
